Mechanism of Action:

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is converted to 25(OH)D in the liver and then to the active form 1,25(OH)₂D in the kidneys. It acts via the vitamin D receptor (VDR), regulating genes involved in immune signaling, calcium absorption, and inflammatory control.

Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7) activates matrix Gla-protein (MGP) and osteocalcin, directing calcium to bones and preventing arterial calcification.
