  • Marketing and Advertising.

    We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, including sending communications by email, text message, or post, and showing advertisements for our products on our website and other platforms.

    Sacred Health works in partnership with NZDSOS. With your consent, we may share limited information (such as your email address and whether you have purchased from Sacred Health) with NZDSOS so we can coordinate communications and minimise duplicate emails. NZDSOS will not use this information for unrelated purposes and you can opt out of this data sharing at any time.

    Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Advertising and Data Sharing

    We use Meta Platforms technologies, including the Meta Pixel, Advanced Matching, and the Conversions API, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, improve our marketing, and show relevant advertisements to people who may be interested in our products.

    These technologies may collect information about your interaction with our website, including pages viewed, products added to cart, purchases made, device information, IP address, browser details, and similar usage data.

    Where you provide us with contact information (such as your email address), we do not share those actual details. We we may securely share a hashed (encrypted) version of that information with Meta to improve advertising measurement and audience matching accuracy. Some information is collected via browser-based tracking (Meta Pixel), and some may be transmitted securely from our servers via the Conversions API.

    This data sharing allows us to:

    • Measure advertising performance;
    • Understand how customers use our Services;
    • Deliver relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram;
    • Improve our products, services, and marketing campaigns.

    We do not sell your personal information. We share information with Meta for legitimate business purposes relating to marketing, analytics, and service improvement.

    You can manage how Meta uses your information for advertising through your Facebook or Instagram account settings, including via the “Off-Facebook Activity” tool. You may also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

    Meta may process your information outside New Zealand. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
